| Carol Bluestein Photography is an outgrowth of interest, passion and a reverence for the meaning and importance of joy and celebration. It is a fact that each of us is shaped by our personal and professional experiences. It affects how we see the world, how we react, how we relate and how we set our priorities. Carol is no different. With her background, she brings her vision, talents and energy to each and every thing she does.  Art, in many forms, has always been an important part of her life. In 1989, after reviewing a set of photographic images for a planned series of paintings, Carol decided that the photographs did not need re-interpretation and could stand on their own. It was then that she began her photographic education through interviews and mentoring with established photographers, photographic studies, readings and workshops to refine her technique. Initially her focus was landscapes both macro and micro. It was actually by chance that she began photographing people -- her grandson was born. Pictorial studies of his endless expressions captured the attention of others. As a result, in 1994 she entered a new phase of her career: Carol Bluestein Photography. In addition to her photography, Carol has over twenty years of experience in event and product production, promotion, marketing, sales, management, graphics design and web development. This gives her a unique perspective regarding the role of the photographer, and what her clients expect to see photographically once the shoot is over. Most importantly, for event shoots, she knows that while her clients want her to capture the key moments as well as traditional groupings and/or activities, they do not want the photography to overpower the event itself or their (and their guests') enjoyment of the event. This fits in perfectly with Carol's philosophy and her warm, interactive style which consistently brings out the best in people... both on and off camera. Note: Carol Bluestein Photography is fully insured and has a current sales tax license. During
her career, Carol has been a volunteer, board member, instructor and/or
director in the areas of community service, arts, tourism, business and education. She has also produced flat floor
shows including craft shows and plant & flower shows, a local TV
show, and musical events for both profit and non-profit sponsors. References available on request |
