Wedding Reception  Sample Proofs

ktk_041 As soon as the bride and groom arrived at the reception, the Best Man gave his toast to the couple. ktk_042 The bride was focused on the groom's face as he listened to escapades from his not too distant past.
ktk_041_a The toast was definitely a sentimental favorite. ktk_043 Then, the Matron of Honor gave her toast.
ktk_043_a I like to photograph not only the center of attention but also the reaction of "crowd."  ktk_044 Good friends must be cherished

This first dance was an upbeat tempo with a Latin beat.  I wasn't sure I would be able to get my "first dance" shots since there were a number of turn-outs  (first picture).  But, a first dance is a first dance, and somehow the couple settled into it and I loved the look on their faces as well as how well they looked on the dance floor.  This is only a sample of my favorite pictures.

Because of the nature of the event, I had time to take shots of friends and extended family. Many of them had come quite a distance for this celebration, but I believe the groom's family took the distance prize since they all came in from out west.

ktk_057 This is one of the special pictures that the bride had asked me to take.  When we go over the photo list, I try to find out as much as possible about who is related to who and what pictures are important.  The bride's dad and his sisters.
ktk_058 The cutting of the cake went smoothly - a definite photo op.   ktk_059 The groom and his mom.
ktk_60 The bride dancing with her wedding party. ktk_61 The groom taking a turn on the floor with the younger set.
ktk_62 Love was definitely in the air. ktk_63 Rock and Roll forever!
ktk_64 My evening ended with perhaps the newest tradition: the passing of the bridal veil from sister to sister.
