Pre-Ceremony, Reception

The Ceremony Sample Proofs

Once the signing is done, the wedding begins, women sitting on one side of the aisle and men on the other.

sjs_15 The groom escorted by his parents... sjs_16 waits for his bride.
sjs_17 And prepares himself for the ceremony and to greet his wife. sjs_18 Once her part was over, this young lady took the word "relax" literally.
sjs_19 The bride escorted by her parents. sjs_19_a The groom receiving the bride and since her veil is up he can be sure he is marrying the "right" woman - a rite that dates back to biblical times.
sjs_20 Before the rings can be exchanged, the bride traditionally circles the groom seven times. sjs_20_a The rings are exchanged.  Note that despite all the tradition, I was encouraged to get as close as possible - and was assured that the ceremony would go on no matter what I did or where I stood.
sjs_21 If I hadn't been close, I'm not sure I would have gotten this shot - but it was worth it. sjs_22 The bride and groom as man and wife.
sjs_23 As they began their walk down the aisle, the congregation broke into song and crowded into the aisle and walked backwards in front of  the bride and groom.   sjs_24 After greeting their guest, the bride and groom are guided into a special room where - traditionally - the marriage is supposed to be consummated
sjs_25 With the door properly guarded so that nobody but nobody interrupts them. In this case, the bride and groom enjoyed a quiet repast while the guests gathered in the reception room...  ...or so I'm told.
