Once the signing is done, the wedding begins, women sitting on one side of the aisle and men on the other. |

The groom receiving the bride and since her veil is up he can be sure he is marrying the "right" woman - a rite that dates back to biblical times. |

Before the rings can be exchanged, the bride traditionally circles the groom seven times. |  |
The rings are exchanged. Note that despite all the tradition, I was encouraged to get as close as possible - and was assured that the ceremony would go on no matter what I did or where I stood. |
