Our wedding packages are inclusive and designed to be client friendly.  Our custom packages are individually designed to meet your specific needs and choices.  We are your photographer for the whole event and can be there for you from start to finish.  The photographer with whom you contract with is the photographer who will be at your wedding. 

         In addition, Carol only does one major wedding per weekend (and never more than one per day) so that she can devote her full attention and energy to the bride and groom and their families.  Why?  Because we know that with all the planning that goes into the perfect wedding day, your photographs are one of the few things that will be yours forever. On your wedding a day, you will have our full attention.  We are focused on you and what is going on at your event ... not where we have to be later. 

        Carol Bluestein Photography is all digital.  With digital, there is the "instant" ability to test situational lighting, change ISO settings accordingly, confirm camera settings, and shoot continuously for long periods of time without having to worry about changing film every 36 images.  The on-site assurance of knowing we have the shot creates a confidence never before known in the photography industry.  We shoot exclusively with the best professional Nikon and Fuji equipment on the market today.

         Digital gives Carol the ability to refine images before they go up on the internet.  Great shots are no longer ruined by closed eyes or under and over exposure.  Group shots can be edited to ensure everyone looks their best. On close-ups, simple cosmetic issues can be taken care of.  All shots have the option of being in either color or B&W.  Nothing takes the place of a good image, and the additional refinement capabilities insure that your images will be the best they can be.

• Online pricing may offer a substantial savings over custom printing by Carol. 
• Digital imaging will also speed up and lower the costs for designing and executing your formal albums, should you choose to get one.
• All images (printed and on CD) are labeled to coordinate with the images on line. Additional printed proof sets are available and may be ordered separately.
• Special Order, Custom Digital Images are available (as standalone prints or for your album) and are artistically prepared to your specifications by Carol Bluestein using the latest digital software and equipment. 

• NEW ! For your convenience, we have also created a menu option that will give you the opportunity to choose only those services that you want or add services to the existing packages.  In this way, Carol can help you create a custom package designed specifically for you.

Wedding Packages Highlights:

• Package guidelines for images are approximately 10-20% formals, 65-75% table groups and modified photojournalism (subjects aware), and 15% true photojournalism (subjects unaware) and details. These are guidelines only and may be altered to fit your particular situation. 

• All packages include:

  • A pre-wedding portrait session to address and resolve photographic issues prior to your wedding day.

  • A private online website.  Online access accommodates friends and relatives regardless of where they live...taking the burden off of you to manage orders for family and friends. Carol does the initial proofing/editing. Order fulfillment is done on the finest quality professional paper.

  • A set of your digital negatives on a CD which you may use for your personal use only.

  • A printed visual narration of your wedding day.  Each package includes a magazine format proof book with twelve (12) images per page.  For either 6 images per page OR a 4x6 boxed set of proofs, there is an additional charge.

• NEW !  A Slide Show is now available at only $250.  You will see your wedding and formals and reception intros during the wedding dinner.

• Other than our Special and A Packages, our  packages are inclusive: there are no overtime charges should things run late or start earlier than expected.  Hourly rates and custom packages are also available.

• Images (in any form) are available approximately two weeks after you approve your site and open it to family and guests.

• Additional photographer: $500/day.

• All dates are confirmed only upon signed agreement and a $500 non-refundable retainer.

SPECIAL:  $1250 – Just the Basics - coverage, website and proof CD

Albums  

• Formal Albums:  These may be included in your package or ordered at any time. Delivery depends on the number of images and time of year ordered.  In order to make it easier for you to compare packages, all albums are a minimum of 20 pages.  At one image/page, it is $40/side. Additional images per side are $5/image. A basic cover is included.  This gives Carol the creative freedom she needs to prepare your custom album without having to charge for special touches and page effects that will make your album uniquely yours. 

  • If you choose to forego your set of printed images, their cost will be applied against the price of the primary wedding album.

  • Additional sizes or albums are available at an additional cost.

  • If you want to include images taken by someone other than the photographer, there is a $10.00 charge per image and the “per-page” fee applies.

  •  Prices do not include shipping, handling, or tax.

• Additional Albums: Duplicate albums are approximately 50% of the cost of the original album.  A basic cover is included.

• All pricing is honored for three months following the wedding.  Albums/print orders will then be subject to current pricing at the time the order is placed.

Hourly Non-Commercial Event Rates

• Single Photographer Coverage: $175.00/hour with a minimum on Saturdays and events occurring on a three day weekends plus:
  • Images billed @ $1.00 per image 
    • Negative CD
    • Printed copy of images
  • Travel time door to door billed at $50/half hour
  • Any additional travel/expenses
  • A choice of any of the options offered in any of the packages
• Double Photographer Coverage: $400/hour with a minimum on Saturdays and events occurring on a three day weekends with same inclusions as Single Photographer.

Portraiture - Digital Only

• $75.00/sitting at my studio - $125/hr. sitting on location
• Travel time over 30 minutes door to door billed at $50 per 1/2 hour.

Freelance and Digital Restoration 

• $75.00/hour plus expenses
• Custom job rates available
• Restorations include restored print up to 8x10  (see prints/reprints)
